There are far too many areas of a Mortgage business for one person to both manage and thrive in. Map out all areas and the key responsibilities that fall into those areas in order to understand everything that goes into the process.

 

2. Establish which areas are generating ROI and ROE for you personally

It's not only about what you have time for and what you don't have time for - identify what is generating income, and what is generating energy. This will help you identify what you can (and should!) delegate.

 

3. Become comfortable with letting go of control

Letting go is never easy for business owners. The key is to train your team right and put your trust in them when they're ready to take over that area of the business.

 

4. Create a referable experience in order to build trust

When the experience is consistent for every consumer, it's easier for your team to be on the same page during the process. Create a uniform experience that can be duplicated in order to generate more referrals.
